Treatment objectives
Epithelialisation is the process by which epithelial cells unify to form the skin and cover the wound; in other words, healing and scarring. It is not the same to sew or glue two pieces together with tension or torsion (it will be a weak area), than without tension (it will be an elastic and resistant area).
Release all tissue adhesions peripheral to the area to be cut by the surgeon.
Eliminate tensions between joints, muscles and viscera so that the blood micro-circulation flows in optimal conditions and all the structures involved in the operation are rehydrated.
RESULTS BEFORE INTERVENTION
- Elimination of muscle and joint pain.
- Improvement of vascularisation and local temperature.
- Control of inflammation, if any.
- Pre-surgical stress management.
RESULTS AFTER THE INTERVENTION
- Partial or total pain reduction. Often the tension of the muscles pulling on the scar hurts more than the surgery itself.
- Reduction of inflammation in the area of the scar and surrounding structures.
- Oedemas and haematomas are very small and easily reabsorbed.
- Early mobility of the area.
- Prevents the appearance of keloids or hypertrophic scarring.

WITHOUT PRE-SURGICAL TREATMENT
Photos day 16: Knee operated on 5 times over two years for failure to improve after the first operation. See the degenerated appearance of the knee and the scars two years after the first operation and the 4 subsequent operations:
Photos day 17: the day after the first session a better appearance can already be observed:
Photos day 19: photograph taken three days after the first session and after the second physiotherapy session. A substantial change can be seen in the general appearance of the knee and the scars. The patient reports that she articulates better and feels little pain:
WITH PRE-SURGICAL TREATMENT
The case of a footballer who underwent pre-surgical treatment at our clinic and who, after the operation, came to us 13 days later to have the joint checked.
Photos at 13 días of the intervention and with thephysiotherapy treatment previous 4 sessions. The patient reports that he has had almost no pain during the post-operative process and has been walking normally since the 7th-8th day. It can be easily observed that the appearance and the healing process are good:
Photos at 2 months: We can see in the photographs a completely healthy and adequate recovery:
